NAME: Blues/Proto Man

HISTORY:The problem with using people to fight wars is that, being people, they have a horrible tendency of dying.
Of course, there have been multiple attempts to work around this. Armor is built, but it's usually too weak or too impractical to work in all situations. Some security robots have also been built, but the issue with them is, their A.I is severely limited - they generally need someone to control them to get anything really done.
The answer was to build a soldier that could take on nearly all the weapons the world had to offer without fear of death, as well as think for itself, in a combat situation or otherwise.
Enter the Antimafia Comission Automated Soldier Project.
Built to be able to go into situations no human would dare attempt, a robot was developed with not only extreme defensive abilities, but also firepower and a new A.I program, far advanced, able to act and react to situations without a human controller. In a bit of side-experimentation, and to also boost the skills of the A.I, the programming is also meant to replicate emotions, and allow the prototype to learn and adapt, growing smarter as it goes along.
Pushing to hit a deadline, the first model was been turned out - Proto Man, nicknamed 'Blues' by the team that built him, for the music they usually listened to while coding or building parts. Built with a focus on defense, his parts are quite tough, and he's equipped with an even sturdier shield to deflect oncoming attacks.
Blues is brand new, and as such, hasn't been sent into combat situations just yet. Right now he's undergoing tests, learning how to interact with people, mimicking humans, essentially.
However, Blues grows ever curious about the outside world. As he learns more, he gets an ever stronger urge to wander.
ABILITIES/EQUIPMENT: Though Proto Man was built with defensive capabilities in mind (After all, they didn't want to build a project this expensive and then just have it explode), he is not without a powerful offense.
His Proto Buster, a weapon that's activated when his hand sucks back up into his arm, has both Non-Fatal and Fatal level of charges, to keep him adaptable. His signature piece of equipment, however, is the Proto Shield: built incredibly sturdy, it can take on a wide range of attacks and come out looking just fine, from bullets to swords to grenades to rockets to you get the idea. With this shield out, Proto Man has a tendency to get cocky.
He's also just plain generally good with computers, as it'd be odd for a robot not to be.
